Alex Neads is a security consultant. Having worked as a terrorism analyst and project manager, he develops systems to quantify and monitor insecurity for the corporate sector. Currently, Mr Neads is also reading for a PhD at the Strategy & Security Institute, University of Exeter, under the title “Building Other Peoples’ Armies: Military Capacity Building and Security Sector Reform during international interventions”. He has worked in conflict environments, and benefits from on-the-ground operational experience. Mr Neads holds a Batchelor’s degree in History from Royal Holloway, University of London, and an MPhil in Modern History from the University of Oxford.
